The ECU 2030 Team introduces a comprehensive strategy dedicated to strengthening women’s inclusion
in chess across Europe. Built on four core pillars: participation, safety, visibility, and leadership, the program
combines proven, ongoing policies with ambitious new initiatives to create a sustainable, development pathway.
Under our ECU 2030 vision, we are launching a comprehensive strategy to elevate women’s chess
across Europe through four core pillars: participation, safety, visibility, and leadership.
Building on proven foundations like our Safe Play Policy , we will introduce groundbreaking initiatives including
a new European Women’s Chess Super League in 2028, a continent-wide Women’s Leadership Program,
and a statutory guarantee for gender balance on future election tickets. Our goal is to secure concrete,
year-round development and measurable growth in every member federation.
