Over the weekend of 18-19 of April, our Presidential candidate, Mr. Zurab Azmaiparashvili, met with representatives of numerous chess federations in Durres, Albania!

The meeting took place during the World Senior Team Chess Championship, and gathered numerous federation representatives and chess friends, showcasing a profound commitment to work together on empowering chess in Europe. Throughout the meeting, we discussed the ECU2030 mission, together creating a vision designed to modernize the European Chess Union and cement Europe’s position as the global powerhouse of chess development.

Our vision is forged in the spirit of cooperation, as we don’t just plan for the future – we are building it. We are moving forward as a team, ready to lead, ready to innovate, and ready to work!
